I can confirm that the new AA is in fact open. Once you've cleared customs and pass through the duty free, you take a right and theres an elevator that will take you to the AA lounge.

I'm just in the domestic lounge and the lady on the desk said the transborder lounge is due to open in September

She didn't say September of what year, you notice.

I'd still like to know if AA added something to the roof or basement with the elevator situation.
