They need to get this thing built. I am sick of all the dumb opponents of the runway complaining about the environmental impacts and the cost. The benefits of this project are at least 3 times greater than the cost.

The third runway is essential. Having just the two parallel runways for all the traffic that SEA gets is just plain dumb. Besides, bad weather reduces the airport to just one runway, which really wreaks havoc on schedules.
