Phoenix SR-51 to Black Mountain Blvd
Hi all,
We have new way to go back home. SR-51 to Black Mountain Blvd is opening!!!
From now on, you don't have go on Tatum Blvd anymore. You can go on SR-51 to Black Mountain Blvd. Because of this, it was too many traffic on Tatum Blvd. It's very congestion. They construction for 9 months and now, they completed it. You don't have worry about a traffic problems.

I wonder how much they spent on this. I happened to be looking at ADOT's long range plans yesterday and they still want to extend 51 north to connect with 17 in the Desert Hills area, possibly at the 17/303 interchange. This would likely get rid of these ramps.
