Reno RNO day use / showers

Hi, I have a friend who is at Burning Man, but he is making a special trip to leave before the end to attend my wedding. I am going to buy him a ticket as a gift on a charter jet back to Reno as a surprise so he doesn't have to drive all that way. The problem is he will get in at around 11:30 and he won't fly out of Reno until 3:35pm. I know the airport doesn't have a lounge with a shower, but I wanted to get him a day use room so he can take a shower before he makes the (very) long trip back to London. I called the Hyatt Place, but they don't seem to do day rooms - does anyone know if any other hotel near Reno airport that do day rooms?

Day rooms I'm not sure about, but the RNO airport is right in town as opposed to being long haul from city center.

While not the height of luxury, there are a couple of Motel 6s right off I-80 that are both probably 10 minutes drive from the airport. I left town several years ago, but one had a large sign that showed their room rate, which was often in the high $30s. Assuming inflation, probably in the low-mid $40s now. Circus Circus downtown also had fairly cheap rooms (and many of the other casino/hotels also have cheap rooms).

Even if you can't find a day rate, there are plenty of places 10-15 minutes drive from the airport where an overnight rate will be <$50.

IIWY, I'd pay day use at a gym/spa like at the High Sierra. I'm sure there are cheaper options, but he can take a shuttle (RT). A good steam and a jacuzzi is just what he'll need to rid himself of the Playa grit. So look at day rates for the spas at all the big hotels and see which one is better/cheaper. That way he can take hotel shuttles and save on cab fare.

On the extremely low end: tell him to stop by any truck stop on the way; $10 or so should get him a shower!!

Since he is likely going to arrive RNO at the executive terminal operated by Atlantic Aviation, why not call them and ask? I would think they can probably offer you the best advice.
