Is Phoenix Customs Fast?

If I come in from Tokyo landing at 8:40 AM, will I clear in time to depart on a 10AM connecting flight to California? Otherwise, I will have to sit in the airport waiting for the 2PM departure. I will only have a carry-on, so I'm not worried about luggage not connecting.

Um, I wasn't aware that we had a new international flight -- PHX-NRT!! Is it a charter??? Otherwise, I would assume that you are stopping somewhere else in the US first and you would clear customs there.

I ended up not using that itinerary. I'm flying nonstop to California instead. Maybe there was a stop somewhere else that I didn't see, because I thought it was odd to be scheduled to have such a tight connection and be expected to also clear customs.

Maybe it was PDX instead of PHX. I think that still would be a tight connection unless Portland has very quick customs.

Not yet. Wait for real official news releases from US Airways will next announcement in between 2011 or 2012 timelines. You have try to be more patience for awhile if US is official releases.
