Vacation at the Boulders - Scottsdale

I'm booking a weekend trip with friends to stay at the Boulders resort. Anyone have any advice on having stayed there on how to bring the cost down a little? I have found the cheapest option to be renting one of the villas. The rates still seem high to me, but I also know this is rated a top 10 spa in the world.

Any insight/advice is welcomed!

The Boulders is part of the Waldorf Astoria collection and therefore is a participant in the Hilton HHonors program. If you have points in Hilton HHonors or know someone who does, perhaps you can use points for one or more nights of your stay.

It is what it is. It's a higher end property. So the prices are higher. Not just for the room but for everything added on top of that. Factor that into your expections, or you will surely be disappointed.

This is precisely why, a few weeks from now, I am staying at the Sheraton Wild Horse Resort instead. At $89 per night, the value per dollar spent is simply too good to pass up.

Cheers,

The Boulders website sez:

Please Note: A daily resort charge of $30.00 ($33.58 tax inclusive) will be applied and includes: Valet parking, high-speed internet access, daily paper, use of the spa facilities, service personnel gratuity (excluding Spa and F&B). This charge is in addition to the rate quoted. Resort charge is not a governmentally imposed charge.
