Is anyone going to visit the first V. Australia 777?

New 777 shows up at LAX on the 6th. Is anyone here going? Anyone have any burning inquiries that we should look into when we visit the aircraft?

Flight Path learning center, on Imperial.

Just curious if there was something that I should keep an eye out for while I was there. I can grab and post some pics if you guys are interested.

If you have a chance to take a shot or two of rows that may have more favorable legroom options in Y, that'd be awesome. Otherwise, if you can just take a photo of what a regular Y seat looks like, that would be very helpful as well.

No, you need to be registered to go through security. I'll be tweeting it at http://www.twitter.com/gadling though.

Ok guys, I'm going to move the V Australia threads over into the Other Australian forums since it isn't actually anything to do with Virgin Atlantic or Flying Club, and it's better to keep threads in one forum. I'll leave a redirect in here for those interested though.

Any comments as always, drop me a PM

Pic of the Business Class seat: http://www.airliners.net/photo/V-Aus...3ZG-ER/1479351

Looks like the same seat as ANA 773ER C seat, but this one is apparently configured to go fully horizontal flat...

Is it me or does it look very narrow?

That's exactly my impression too. They've got a reported seat width of 20.5", which is a full 3 inches narrower than the new UA business class seat. It doesn't appear as though the armrests come down, which adds to the sense of "narrowness" of the seat. Anyone have a different take?

Armrests do come down, but it's still a narrow seat overall.
