Business class seats on 737MAX

Hello,

Are the business class seats on the 737MAX the same as the 73H (737-800)?

Thanks.

no. for me, the biggest (and best) difference is that the new seat has adjustable legrest and foot rest that swings up. This merely brings them up to par with the qantas seat, but it's still the change that's worth mentioning.

and oh, the seats are also being retrofitted to the entire 737-800 fleet. I was on VH-VON, a 20 year old 737-800 with the new seats.

Personally I like the older seats better because the planes with the older seats have a cabin separator behind the 2nd row. The planes with the new seats don't have a separator and I find that awkward.

New dividers are supposed to be retrofitted at some point - as mentioned in the article posted up thread. Although, it doesn’t look as nice as the old ones but probably more leg room overall.

Sooner the better. Even following CC announcement peeps from the back of the plane were using forward loo today and just after a while it causes irritation to those of us who have paid for business. Wish VA monitored and weee stronger in controlling this.
