VA domestic lounge access for SQ passengers
Hello !
Soon I will fly Singapore Airlines from Wellington to Sydney via Melbourne, on flights SQ248 + SQ6823.
The SYD-MEL segment is a Virgin Australia flight booked under a SQ flight number.
Since I'm a Star Alliance Gold (through LH Senator status) do I have access to the Virgin lounge at MEL Domestic terminal during the transfer?
Does anybody know if VA recognize the Star Alliance status since the flight is a codeshare sold from SQ with a SQ number?
thanks so much!!!

VA gives some lounge access to DL elites on VA flights. That might apply if OP is a high tier DL elite and the same benefit might also be extended to FB elites since VA/VS are also developing close bilateral partnerships with AF/KLM.
