Delays with EY crediting to Velocity
Hi everyone,
Has anyone had issues with miles being credited to Velocity from EY flights?
I took a couple of segments on EY back in December 2017 and my miles have yet to come through. 2 weeks after my flight, I lodged a missing mileage claim and about 6-8 weeks later got an email from Velocity saying EY was having "IT Technical issues". I let the issue go thinking it'd come through at some point, but last week (6 months down the track) got another follow up email saying EY still had problems.
Anyone had similar issues? It's not alot of mileage (~ 7,000 Velocity points), but it's a bit annoying given both VA/EY are supposed to be close partners.

Just flew EY on June 7. Nothing yet. I'll post when it comes through.
Maybe relevant maybe not, but my VA number and status was not present on my EY BP. I have flown EY before, and my Velocity number was there. I asked several times and they always confirmed it was in the reservation...

Same here. Had an IRROPs booking on EY in Feb. Was Business Class. Nothing posted.
Then retroclaimed and tons of back and forth and VA refused to honor the miles because it wasn't originally EY ticket stock.
It's a lot of miles and I've been annoyed since. Never had this issue with any other airline or alliance. VA's hodge podge partners and rules makes my head spin.

I see nothing in the velocity Terms and Conditions relating to earning and the airline's ticket stock.
What happened and what booking class(es) did you travel in on what market flight numbers and what operating carriers?
You may be able to use the www.airlinecustomeradvocate.com.au

I am having difficultly with SQ flight WLG/MEL in early May - route started May 4, Velocity says invalid cities pair (assume the flight has not been loaded in the system?) - now have to wait 6-8 weeks for SQ to verify. VA number was in booking and appeared on boarding pass...

That does not make sense. EY ticket Stock?

I was flying in Business, and rebooked onto Etihad Business, all EY flight numbers.
Yes, nothing in their terms about ticket stock, but that is what the Velocity team said to deny me credit.

What do you mean "ticket stock"? A flight number not starting with EY or a ticket number not beginning with "607-" ... The former is "Marketing Carrier" and the latter is "Ticket Stock".

Given the IRROPS I agree with @Must...Fly! that EY don't want to fork out.
