Virgin Gold Status matched to Hilton
Has anyone had the complimentary Hilton Gold Status granted from Virgin Australia after their DIAMOND status expired and having dropped to Gold from Platinum?

Sort of ... back in 2014 I dropped briefly to VA SG and was able to apply the gold benefit to IHG (I was still Diamond with Hilton).

Systems have now been fixed so that it’s a one time benefit regardless of demotion or promotion if it has been used at that level before.

In this case the Gold Hotel benefit hadn't been used previously.

so the Hilton Gold can be applied (as previously the Diamond from the Platinum has been used)
