4th VA AGM, Sat 19th August 2017, BNE Dom Lounge
After a hiatus of 3 years 
(last one 2014), it's time for me to try and host another AGM (well my QF ones are {in}famous after all 
).
I need to check with the VA Lounge Goddess and also my internal VA execs to get them to give it the Virgin approval, but who is interested?
Previously, we had a specific area to meet, but with the redevelopment of the Lounge, I'll need to clarify where we can meet. There used to be the over-flow Lounge, but I don't even know whether that is still operational (but it would be perfect for our needs).
Where: BNE Domestic The Lounge, where exactly TBA
When: Saturday, 19th August 2017 @ 3pm
RSVP: to this thread, we'll keep a running list of attendees (Platinum - Yes I'm a definite; Gold - Very interested but it's too far forward to confirm now; Silver - I'm a probable/maybe; Bronze - Sorry, I'm a scratching). Also, include your VFF status please in your confirmation post.

There's usually preliminary discussion about flying (VA centric, of course) as well as I will look at the possibility of organising a Tour (details TBA) with my contacts.

The common usage of the term: Annual General Meeting. I've been arranging Flyertalk get-togethers of members since 2002 (mainly on the Qantas Forum), but branched out to the VA Forum when I joined the VFF community in 2011.
As an example, see the crurent thread for the Qantas AGM we had on Saturday: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qanta...eb-2017-a.html. There were 30+ of us having F&B in the Qantas Club, whilst we discussed all things flying/hotels etc...

No. We gain access via being invited into the Lounge as a "group", although those that do fly in have automatic access. Everybody who RSVP's will have their name on a list at the front reception. Rock up and say you're with the Flyertalk group and voila...entrance is gained

Will be nice to see a new face Beano and come with an open mind ready to soak up so much information - as some of the attendees know quite a lot [Not me - I'm just the organiser]
