Marketing Carrier?
HI,
I am easily over the Points barrier for platinum this year but struggling with the 8 VA flights...(0 this year!)
If I book VA flights to Singapore (carrier = Singapore) with a VA number - do these count towards the 8 legs?

Travel on a VA flight number that earns Velocity Points and/or Status credits, being an "Eligible Sector" counts toward the sector count.
Eligible Sector means a Flight Sector:
(a) that has been flown;
(b) that has not been booked as a Reward Seat;
(c) where Virgin Australia is the Marketing Carrier.

yes - the two character flight number represents the "Marketing Carrier".
It may be difficult to get a VA codeshare on an SQ operated flight without travel to Australia.
