Ok, seat allocation - ability to select a seat before flight. Twice in last 2 weeks my 'seat selection' has been changed. Whilst I understand that seat selection is no 'guarantee', I would have thought for Plat members, the chance of a change would be low.

I dont normally check in online as often on the run, no access to printer or may change flight, but do always do a seat selection.

Last 2 weeks, that seat selection has been changed. On Friday, went to check SYDMEL and was expecting my aisle pre selected seat and was given a 'middle' seat. Quickly said this was not what I selected, and an aisle was found with the staff member saying as it was a full flight, she was bumping someone who hadnt yet checked in, as I had been bumped previously.

Moral of the story, need to check in earlier - even if you cannot print BP to guarantee a seat...
