Priority Baggage

I normally don't check bags when flying domestically, but the Christmas season has meant a lot of checked bags for me. Being Plat (though comped & not earned - I know that is important to some) I've been enjoying not only the very generous weight limits but also the very good baggage delivery. My bags have always been in the initial lot.

Well done VA.

Mine have always been in the first 5 or 6 bags too on all sectors I have travelled, so seems to be working well so far!
I am off to LA in March on my first international VA flight since the changes, so will be interested to see if it happens there too.

Used VA during X-Mas and checked in bags, BNE-SYD. Can out in the first lot. Happy with that.

And +1 on the very generous limit, 69kg. Wow.

I'd like to think they will take note, but I doubt it given the hostility between management and the workforce.

I had four flight in paid business this past November. Priority sticker were affixed. On three of the flights, my bags were amongst the last off. Probably 35-40 minutes of extra waiting in total...

I would like to know what DJ's definition of priority baggage actually is?Does it mean that my bag won't be the very last off the plane? Somewhere between Melbourne and Sydney, the system breaks down for me, everytime without fail.

From what i've read elsewhere, some ports are very good at priorising priority baggage, but from my experience, others are obviously letting the team down.

I have had no end of baggage woes with Priority Bags

Ive had to prompt several times for the tag to be put on, and yet the times when i think i see them tag it and they dont one bag came out dead last an hour after arrival and one bag stayed in sydney...
