Current Upper Class menu?

Hi all - anyone know the current Upper Class menu, particularly on the JFK-LHR redeye route?

Thanks!

AL Jan 7, 2023 7:25 pm

Not the menu (others might have it, otherwise call the Upper line), but the highlights are https://corporate.virginatlantic.com...nter-2022.html.
The chicken and mushroom pie is pretty good, as is the miso salmon. I also enjoy the fish finger sarnie if I've eaten in the Clubhouse first.

Thanks! Much appreciated.
I think my pre-order window opens on Thursday, so I'll share what I find there, too.

Its still the same winter menu that started last year

Starters
Smoked salmon - with Asian slaw, sriracha mayonnaise, toasted sesame and micro greens.
Farro butternut squash salad - with sweet potato puree, blanched asparagus tips, yellow tomato and frisbee leaves (v).

served with a selection of breads

Mains
Seared chicken breast - with roasted root vegetables mash, wilted kale, thyme-roasted tomato and brandy cream sauce.
Slow-cooked pork shoulder - wit potato, swede and savoy cabbage gratin, bacon wrapped green beans and creamy mushroom sauce.
Three-cheese ravioli - with aubergine and tomato rags, creamy cheese sauce and parmesan (v).

Deserts
Crumble-topped apple and vanilla cheesecake (v).
Warm lava cake (v).

Cheese and Port

Speedy Super - creamed butternut squash and ginger soup served with Wisconsin cheddar cheese on toasted brioche bread (v).

Thanks, Territt. Pretty accurate based on what I'm seeing...

I got the menu through this morning (72 hours before my flight) and here's what they have on offer:

- Seared Chicken Breast
- Slow-cooked Pork Shoulder
- Three Cheese Ravioli (v)
- Nashville-style Breaded Chicken Burger
- Thai Green Prawn Curry
- Roasted Wild Mushroom Bamboo Rice Bowl (v)
- Creamed Butternut Squash and Ginger Soup (express option) (v)

Very annoying but even though the Roasted Wild Mushroom bowl is listed as vegetarian, when you click to see the ingredients it indicates there is fish in it! Also pretty shameful that there's not a single vegan option. Wildly basic/boring to offer ravioli as the vegetarian main course. Oh well, there's always the clubhouse food.

That's a strangely different menu to the two or three UC winter routes I did ex-{JFK,IAD,LAX}. Hmm.

I got the same menu for my LAX-LHR flight next week.

The menu was emailed to us a few days before we flew, so that we could preselect our mains

Ah interesting. They didn't send to me for upcoming DEL->LHR->ATL trip. Maybe because I booked through Delta?

Any thoughts?

P.S. sorry for stupid questions - first time flying Virgin. Feel like such a Virgin/noob

I never received menus to choose from before my flight. I assumed it was because of my booking through Delta.

A FA recommended the ravioli to me last flight and I really enjoyed it.

Current Upper Class Menu

Hi,
Someone was asking about the current UC menus. These are from LHR-MCO and MCO-LHR, outbound two weeks ago and inbound two days ago. Inbound is the first picture with the speedy supper.

There we’re more choices outbound sent by email for pre-selection a couple of days before the flight but I didn’t take a photo of those.

Thanks for posting. I have merged the two threads to keep all the information in one place.

This was the UC menu from MCO to MAN in January

Received my pre order menu, not exactly inspiring....guessing there is unlikely to be anything different onboard.
