Anyone know if there is a set way they deliver service on board. I.e. certain seats first and which aisle do they start with?

Might depend on the plane type and cabin crew but in my experience they have always started on the front left of upper - 1A, 2A etc

Currently flying to Tampa. I had the Waldorf Salad which was excellent, the lamb (pre ordered) which was so-so and the chocolate dessert thing which was very odd and not great.
oh also managed to get a drink served in a BA Glass. BA are head and shoulders above virgin with their dining at the moment. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...62fe7195d.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6cea2ed38.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6e5acba43.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...19491056a.jpeg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c8f0a8aca.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...795f8cc37.jpeg |
Pre-order UC menu
We received our pre-order menu for our flight this Saturday, August 5.
Choices were: crispy coated chicken breast, brown sugar brined pork chop, Florentine ravioli, vegan grits, bangers and champ mashed potatoes, butter chicken, potato and watercress cream soup (express) This is for Orlando to LHR. |
I had the lobster and crab tortellini last night and it was pretty bad. Tasted and smelled so fishy unfortunately. Am I the only one who things its just best to eat a full mean at the clubhouse prior to departure if time allows?

Looks like there was a change in the outbound flight from Miami to London. Here’s the new menu.

this is exactly the menu I got for LHR-BOS. I picked the lobster and crab tortellini for now. Love seafood, but one less than stellar review makes me anxious. Should I go for braised lamb instead? Figured I might as well go for one of the exclusive options.

Thanks 🙏 – I guess I will eat well at the LHR Clubhouse before boarding! Hopefully food there is good enough. If that is not the case, I suppose I can go to Centurion for lunch.

I had the cod the other day and really enjoyed it - well the fish, peas and tartre sauce. The potato element, although edible was just ok

The same menu choices were offered for pre-selection on my UC JFK-LHR dinner flight on Aug. 24. I chose the pork chop. Hope it passes muster, or maybe even some mustard. I'll report back.

Maybe I’m overly optimistic here, but is the fact this thread quieted down over the past month a good sign? Has the menu improved?
