Infant award ticket and bassinet

Hi,

what is the mileage fare for a lap infant on VS? Also, do they have bassinets in Upper Class?

Thanks

Yes they have a bassinet seat in UC.

Locations are shown on the seat maps on the VS website as they vary by plane type.

Hi

Thanks for the update - this is at odds with what I've just been told by Virgin on Live Chat:

Infants can no longer use miles to travel, you can book all other passengers online and we can book the infant separately for the lowest revenue fare and add them to your booking.

Infant tickets are usually around 10 - 20% of the normal adult revenue fare.

Thanks - sounds like I need to call if I want to book!

Any idea how the 5k is calculated? Is it a % of the adult mileage fare?
