Into SFO and return form LAX PE,???
Reading the 'upgrade' post I had no idea some types of aircraft had better/worse PE seats.Until I book this flight I have only done PE on the MCO route with a 747-400.
Are there preferable flights for me to book when I book for August 2004?
Cheers

The Airbus A340/300 is the one with the nasty PE seats. The LA flights are basically:
VS7/8 - 747-400
VS23/24 - A340-300.
IF, and this is a big if, VS decide to put the A340-600 on the 23/24 route, you'll have good seats, but if you're after a safe bet, stick with VS8 on the way back.

Hi,
On the 747-400 ( LHR) aircraft they do have 3 rows of PE on the mian deck , just behind the boarding doors ( row 75-76-77).
I would prefer the Upper deck ( rows 70 to 74) ( window seats have storage containers) and probably slightly quieter.
Regards
