First class lavatory

Is the first class lavatory in the front different from the lavatories in the back?

I find it smaller and more difficult to stand up in. Other than that, it's the same lav.

I agree. Seems smaller and more difficult to stand up but otherwise, practically the same as the one in the back. Or maybe it's just all in my head.

might as well just use the one in F. we just flew lax to sfo and people streamed back and forth from Y into the F lav even though the FA made an announcement that it was only for F passengers.

I always appreciate it when FAs in F actually enforce this instead of just saying it.

I HATE HATE HATE that they allow this. What's worse is that the FA's in the back actually tell Y pax to use the F lavs when they're doing the drink service so they don't have to move the cart out of the aisle to let people pass them.

Hey, I think it's the VX forum's first thread complaining about Y pax in the F lav!

So, anyone want to start a pool about when the kids in F thread shows up?

(In all seriousness, I couldn't care less who uses which bathroom, though I don't use the F bathroom when in Y because other people and the FAs do. It's not an exclusive luxury spa, people.)

Whilst my initial experience involved the lavatory use habits of Marines traveling in the Troop Deck of an LST (a "Large Slow Target" with a flat bottom and the rolling and pitching habits of an overweight wrestler attempting to escape a submission hold), we finally agreed to allow some use of the Officers' Head in exchange for the alternative, not using the heads at all, which creates a terrible clean up problem for the ship's crew.

It's not an issue with which to take great issue, especially when the beverage carts block the Y aisle. Of course, I do base a part of my response in having traveled aboard the infamous "Stretch 8", a prolonged version of the old DC-8, in which the after lavs were at least a quarter mile from the bulkhead, too far to walk and wait for any but the youngest of prostates.

Due to the curvature of the Earth and the attitude of the plane, the front lav will always be less comfortable for those standing in it. There are devices you can purchase in larger airports to correct for this. The problem, as many see it, is that you place the device on the floor and stand on it. This can result in some pretty unsanitary conditions.

All of the above is 100% hooey. I'm a little bored today.

As an F passenger, I don't feel I should have to sit on the same toilet as someone who paid $39 for their ticket. I wish VX has some sort of curtain or barricade.
