Booking first VX flight soon...any promo code help???

Since I'm stuck in AA wasteland at DFW, I don't get a lot of opportunity to try out VX just yet. However, my future wife and I will be flying VW from LAS-SFO during our honeymoon in March. Just thought I'd see if there were any active promo codes right now. Otherwise, I think I can afford the $92 per person flight!

There are no promo codes right now, however, that is far enough out that I would defer making a purchase until closer to the travel date and watching for VX sales. However, if F is available, and you see a decent fare now, I'd spring the extra bucks for a nice ride and some good free cocktails on your short trip - certainly worth it for the new little lady.

I agree, F is worth the extra $$ if you can afford it. Even SFO-LAS.

If you're willing to chance it, there are 24 hour upgrades ($50 each SFO-LAS) when seats are available. These tend to go quickly (if available at all), so there is a good chance you will miss out.

There are some details under the FAQ's: http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=838255 (see: 'Q: Can you get a standby upgrade to first class?')
