Policy on Letting Someone Else Use a Discount Code?
So, I just got my Gold status email. I've booked Main Cabin exactly zero times on VX and don't foresee ever doing so (the only routes I'd even consider it would be the super-short hauls in CA...and there I'm generally hooked into a longer trip and so will upgrade along with the "main" leg). This means that the 25% non-refundable discount codes are...well, basically useless to me.
That being said, I don't want to hand mine off if that would trigger a T&C issue. Has anyone had experience on this front?
Edit: To be clear, I will NOT under any circumstances sell the codes (or even barter them). I just have no use for them and would rather pass them on to someone who has a use for them.

I've used them for both my children (flying on separate itineraries) and my employees without issue. In fact, I've never used them for myself since I'd rather use the coupon for someone else and pay for my own fare to get status points.

I've successfully used mine for my daughter on a separate reservation. It should not be a problem. If you are looking for someone to pass the code to, I could help you out with that.
