VX Plane at MIA?

I was in Miami between 12/18 and 12/20. I sadly had to use MIA and American instead of FLL and VX.

On my return flight, on 12/20, I noticed a VX bird in a hangar located to the side of one of the runways. Any insight as to why? I couldn't find any info via flight tracking services, but I also didn't look exhaustively.

Could it be a diversion from FLL? A private charter? A flight to bring VX staff out to meet with MIA staff prior to launching LGA-MIA?

Our aircraft are often parked at MIA for maintenance.

^ If I recall correctly I believe when the new aircraft are delivered they go down to MIA for RED installation. Possibly get the mood lighting outfitted there as well. Either way VX uses MIA for MX queries just like they use OMA. Its not uncommon to see a VX aircraft there as well.
