December flights with Virgin
Hoping for some advice from amazing knowledge base on this forum!
I am looking to book some internal US flights with Virgin America flying in December - over the past 2 months since I started researching, the flights have only been available up until 21 November and that date hasn't changed any - does anyone have any idea when the December block of flights are scheduled and released?
Thanks so much.

Hi, Just an update to this with another question.
I see flights for December with Virgin were (finally) released today - we are flying in from Australia on Tues 3rd Dec and wanting to book ongoing flight - for some reason, it seems on the website that there are no non-refundable (cheaper) fares available for ANY destination out of LAX on that date with Virgin (other airlines on this date are half the price) - however for subsequent dates, the flights have the cheaper fares available. It can't be that they are all sold as they have just today become available - is there some sort of "High season" on that date that I am unaware of?

I looked at a seat map for early January, 2014 and there were only a few seats booked. That said, I know you can't count on the seat map being a total representation of booked/available seats. What I wonder is if Virgin is trying to get the folks who have to travel during the TG/Christmas holidays to book now (at the higher rate) and then free up non-refundable seats toward the fall. Another guess might be to have folks who want to use Elevate points for travel during holiday time use more points to snag seats on the dates they want to fly.
I found it odd that the refundable only fares extended to early January. I will need to book travel during the second week in January and was surprised that the day I looked at (1/8/14) was refundable only fares.
