ATLANTA???

Does any one here think VX will come to ATL and take on DL?

I would love some new options to the west coast.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Yeah right. WN only came in because they gobbled up AirTran.

ATL will be a bloodbath between DL and WN. VX is hemorrhaging all over the place already. They don't need the extra trouble.

Yes, they will get more tougher competition against DL, FL, WN. I don't think they considering service to ATL. Probably not for a long time.

I'd love to see that one happen and fly on some cheap SFO - ATL fare!

didn't think it was much of a possibility.

it's a bummer as there are many DL FF that would like some more direct options and WN all Kettle planes just wont cut it.

we can keep dreaming.

Well, what people like you typically do is cheer the arrival of some upstart like VX because it prompts your preferred regular carrier to lower its prices. Then you happily fly for cheap on DL or whomever until the exhausted, beaten upstart withdraws. Then you resume complaining about high airfares, having never supported the VX-type airline that temporarily brought you low ones.

I hope so (DL vs WN) but I have yet to really see any fare wars yet. why would it be different than Business as usual for DL as they have had Airtran here for a long time.

One of the most well-written comments I've seen on any of these forums! Thanks for bringing a little common sense! ^
