ORD, DFW, PHL and (maybe) MSP. Much better, VX. Much better.

Let's find out on Wednesday. Which airlines will be introduce service to MSP.

My guess NK, B6 or VX.

NK will start MSP-FLL/MCO/TPA/DFW/ATL/LAS/BOS/ORD/DTW.

VX will start MSP-SFO/LAX or DFW/FLL/LAS/JFK.

B6 will start MSP-JFK/BOS/FLL/MCO/AUS/LGB/SFO.

I highly doubt it will be VX personally (as much as I would love to see them fly to/from LAX and SFO), nor do I believe we will see JetBlue...the evidence in the provided articles (and the a.net forum) just banks up too heavily against them - so hello Spirit! (cries a little on the inside about the false hope of two great airlines not coming and instead getting a crappy one)

What evidence is that?

VX flies internationally (SJD and CUN).

VX has been around for 3+ years, so MSP could have been chasing after them.

VX isn't making connections to anyone at MSP, so the LCC terminal is fine (probably saves them money).

Oh, and as pointed out above...

Look, I'd love to be proved wrong - really I would (and a post I earlier made on the Virgin America FB page did indicate that perhaps something might be happening - although I'm more under the impression DCA would be next...) The second article posted - the Star Tribune - indicates the strong belief that Spirit woudl be the new airline to launch flights, which would make sense.
