Elevate Points to Upgrade?

Hi - A VA rookie here, so please pardon the question if it's already been covered.

I find the Elevate program a bit confusing. Can points be used to upgrade to MCS or F if a regular economy ticket is purchased? How would one do this online?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, you are not able to upgrade using elevate ponts according to their website: http://tinyurl.com/y9a5muh. Hopefully their policy will change some day.

Thanks for the link. I am completely new to Virgin America, so I assume that the only ways to upgrade are to buy an F fare at time of booking or buy an upgrade within 24 hours of departure, if available?

You've got it. :-)

Please check out the FAQ at the top of this forum, if you haven't already. The first posting has most of the info you need.
