Virgin or Continental For First Class Flight
I decided to ask this one in here as it's a friendly forum
I have the choice of the following
LAS-EWR/JFK
Continental in First
Virgin America in First
For 2 people Continental is about $350 cheaper and I have access to their lounge in LAS, which is a big plus from my viewpoint.
Any other thoughts as to spending $350 extra to fly on Virgin ?
An extra 17inches of Seat Pitch would be a big plus though..

Perhaps this Trip Report on Virgin America may lead you to spend that extra 350 bucks?
I personally like CO myself. Never flown Virgin America.

Hmmmmm
VA - IFE, better seat, better interior
CO - Lounge access, $350 cheaper.
I think I will go CO from LAS-JFK, then VA from IAD-SFO on my other flight.
Still happy to hear other thoughts!

If you take the one daily CO flight that uses the 739, it will be outfitted with Direct TV. Free in first class.
I have taken EWR-LAS in first many times on CO. Great service, food, drinks on this route. Its too bad they dont use the 752's on this route anymore. They have BF seats! I got uped on those a couple times. Pretty sweet

Never took Virgin, but have heard many nice things. 350 is a lot however. Let us know what you decide!

Food will be better on CO, seat and IFE will be better on VX. Depends on which is more important to you.

Not even a malfunction, just a part that didn't meet specs. Based on info in the CO forum, it seems like it should be fixed within 1 week or 2. There is at least one fixed plane already. OP never mentioned when travel will begin?

Having flown both CO and VX in F (not on your routes), my vote is to go with the cheaper price on CO. Take the $350 and enjoy it elsewhere... such as a very nice steak dinner with a decent bottle of wine.
