Boarding/Ticket Counter Question

Hello,

Please forgive me if this has already been asked but if I have already checked in online and printed out my boarding passes and I am not checking any bags (only taking a carry on):

1.Do I have to check in at the ticket counter when I get there and provide ID or can I go straight to the security line?

2. Same scenario for a flight leaving the country to Iceland/Europe. Must I check in at the ticket counter at Iceland air or can I proceed straight to the security line with my passport etc without going to the counter?

I am am trying to avoid the long lines at the ticket counter since I will not be checking in a bag.

Thanks!

1. You can go right to security if you have a boarding pass.
2. Same as above, but the airline may not issue you a boarding pass until they verify your passport. Depends on the airline and if they've verified your passport before. When you check in you'll either get a boarding pass or something that says you're check-in but need to go to the desk to get a boarding pass. If you get a BP, go right to security.

If you have a boarding pass for your flight, you can go straight to security.
