US Debit Card with Chip

So, I am starting to have trouble using my debit card at international ATMs with my regular magnetic stripe debit card. I can eventually find an ATM that will take it bit sometimes there are few and far between. I also ran into the issue in Europe with handheld credit card machines that require the card to be inserted so the chip can be read.

Does anyone know if a US bank that has the debit card with the chips in them?

Your best bet may be the new Travelex money card. There's also a thread here which may be useful.

Thanks for the link -- I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one with this problem.

I hope the banks see this and introduce this as well -- I wish the rates were better on this card.

I ran into problems using my debit card with chip at some ATM's in Italy.

The sword cuts both ways.
