My fiancé, SP, is four for four, flying in and out of LGA. He was even upgraded on the DCA shuttle twice. ^

I got 3/4 on the PHL-CLT-MEX-PHX-PHL
The last phx-phl leg was quite full - no UG so I went standby on an earlier flight once I cleared customs.
That makes me 3/10 this year. I've requalified for SP til 2010 - at this rate maybe I'll even make GP this year.

3 for 22 since I made silver last month. Horrible
I better get at least one this week as I am going to some really thrilling places like Boise and ABQ (can't spell it)
Week after next I should make gold and hopefully my luck will turn the corner.

As a Platinum flying out of PHX, I get an upgrade about 50% of the time.

3 out of 12 possible, not counting 10 RJ/turbo-prop segments. All 3 have been at the gate, after getting the usual "No Upgrade" email 2 days prior. Hope to improve that for the future by calling the phone # before I ask the GA. Expect to make GP around Aug-Sept, but don't expect anything to be different.

As the OP, here is my YTD update: 2 for 16. The 2 were on a round trip CLT- FLL, a 1 hour 20 min flight. I am 0 for forever for upgrades on transcons.

1 out of 11 flights this year has been on a mainline aircraft (they still exist?). I didn't get upgraded, but it was on a re-route and I was the 250+ person to check-in for the A320 flight. My next shot at an upgrade will probably be on one of the few remaining mainline flights between LGA and PIT during the summer.
