Missing Segment
I had a flight scheduled from RNO to LAS with a change of planes in PHX. The plane had mechanical problems and was delayed several hours which would cause me to miss the connection in PHX which was the last one out for the night. There was a non-stop flight from RNO to LAS and I was put on that flight. Before I was told that was the flight I would be put on, I called the Silver elite number and I was told that I would still get credit for the segment not flown if I was changed to the non-stop. I have called US Airways multiple times to try and get credit for this segment and they refuse to give it to me. Is there anything else I can try?

Check this thread. Apparently, people have had success speaking with an online agent over chat. The poster in this case was bus'ed and lost a segment and miles which were both reinstated.

Thanks. I tried it and I now have my missing segment. I had spoken to several phone agents and they had refused to give this to me. Guess I will try on-line chat from now on when I have a problem.
