The Good and Bad of my IROPS experience

Hadn't left for the airport yet when I get an alert from flightstats.com that my flight is canceled. I start calling preferred desk as I'm verifying with USAirways.com. Agent does a great job changing my mood and starts calling around looking to accommodate me--called around a bunch looking for space--no dice. When it appears all is lost she finds me the last seat on the next direct flight--I guess someone canceled while she was looking around because it was a full flight when she started looking. At any rate, below is the email that I drafted to send to CS and am looking for feedback, ideally from employees--though not to the exclusion of anyone else--to make sure there's nothing in here that would get her in trouble (for being too helpful?) and that I covered all the bases.

Thanks in advance
Marc

PS--I'm still working on the OTHER email that's going to ask why US couldn't contact me to advise of the cancellation--seems like low hanging fruit, they've got my email and phone number and they know the flight is canceled (they'd even already rebooked me for tomorrow). Seems like a perfect job for an autodialer and email generator

I am writing to applaud NAME (xx) in Winston-Salem. She fielded my call on the preferred line on Tue 26 JUL 2007 after I learned that my flight (PNR) was cancelled. She was both professional and pleasant while attempting multiple routes to get me to my destination as soon as possible. After exhausting US direct and connecting flights, partners and other carriers she noticed that a seat had opened up on a direct US flight later tonight and got me on it. I appreciate not only her ability to get me where I need to be in a timely fashion, but also her demeanor and perservearance to find a solution.
