Open Jaw allowed?

I'm looking at booking this pair of flights, and am wondering if it fits as 'open jaw'.

Outbound would be Phoenix/Newark (direct)
Return would be Halifax/Phoenix (via Philadelphia).

I plan on using miles to arrange this with 1st class flights.

That looks like a legal open jaw to me.

This is true for award travel.

You can book a multi segment trip online if you're buying it.

OK -- thanks for the confirmation of this -- and yes, I know I need to call in for this (USAirways tends to push folks to the phones for anything in the way of 'wrinkles').

For an east coast vacation, we're looking to visit my sisters (one in NJ, one NH near Boston, do a timeshare match on the cape, and then fly up to Halifax and spend some time there - haven't been in Nova Scotia in over 30 years -- back then one could take a ferry -- no more for that).

True, but it tends to be a tad pricey. In this sort of scenario, Alaska Airlines (my other frequent flyer airline) tends to be a lot easier to work with.
