Experience Selling Star G Status?

Does anyone have experience selling their US Airways Gold Preferred nomination perk for the 2nd tier of CP?

Just curious of the value and what vehicle to use for selling it. It doesn't make much sense for me to give it to my wife for the few flights a year she makes.

Thanks,
Shawn

I think this belongs in Coupon Connection.

I believe "selling" your nominations is a violation of terms and conditions of the program

Check the terms and conditions of the dividend miles site before you do such a transaction. You and the buyer might be disappointed.

Interesting. Not sure how this would be different than selling United SWU, which is a rampant business.
Also not sure how the T&Cs would be enforceable.

If it is enforceable has nothing to do with whether it is permitted or not.

Your posts violate both the T&C Dividends Miles Program and those of FT..

Sorry, I did not realize that it was a violation of the T&C's of FT to post this sort of question here.

I would challenge you find any such language in the DM T&C's though:

They have an out. They didn't explicitly state selling as being prohibited but they have the right to reject any nomination for any reason - that much is clearly listed. Generally, selling miles, points and perks are against the terms of a program (including unpublished rules), or at a minimum it violates the spirit of the program.

And I'm sure this thread will be locked soon.

If they find out you might loose your account and all your miles. Worth it?
