Seats Disappearing

Seats Disappearing
I booked a flight a few days ago using my Credit Card Companion Certificate. For the outgoing flight on 6/11, PHL to MSP, I chose seats 7A & 7C on an E170. I have an e-mail that confirms these seat selections.
Now, when I look at my reservation, the seats for that flight aren't there. When I try to choose seats again, it says that seats can't be chosen at this time.
Anyone know what happened?

IĻm reading more posts lately about seats disappearing, and flights being tinkered with. Iīve started screen shooting my itins when theyīre booked. I donīt know if it will help in a dispute, but it certainly canīt hurt.

Looks like my seats are back now. When I went in to my reservation this afternoon it said there were changes to my flights and I had to click an Accept button. The only difference though is the Flight #. I guess maybe they were doing an update in their system at the time, which is why my seats weren't displaying earlier.

This happens all the time on US. Sometimes there is a reason and sometimes its the system. Best thing to do is call and get a live person on the phone. Remember, there is no such thing as a guaranteed seat so you are "asking" not "demanding."
