"Ask a question" box on FT

Hi everyone,

We are about to add a new widget to FlyerTalk that is designed to encourage visitors (those who come to FT from a Google search, for instance) to register and ask questions related to FT. This widget will only appear for visitors who are not logged in.

The questions they ask through this widget will be posted in the forum they're currently visiting, and the moderators (or helpful members!) can address the question or direct the new member to the proper place on FT. We have had very good results with this method of encouraging visitors to register and become a part of the community on other forums.

One last thing -- the widget can be dismissed if you don't want to see it (if, for whatever reason, you're browsing FT while logged out); be sure your browser accepts cookies and doesn't delete them, or you'll see the widget again. Once dismissed, you shouldn't see it pop up again as long as your FT cookie is active.

If you have any questions or issues with the widget, please report them here.

Thank you!

Paul
