converting USAir orphan miles?

I'm sure this has been brought up in the past but I can't seem to find anything. Anything I can do with 1000 miles to convert to another program or spend on something?

Some folks over on the Delta and AA board would disagree with you. They (including me) are hopping mad over a denied 1000 miles promised by the Sol Melia hotel chain for converting their enrollment bonus points to either Delta or AA for 1000 miles.

Getting 1000 miles owed to you is one thing. Having an account with only 1000 miles and trying to get that transferred is a different story, IMHO.
