Did I miss something?

I'm trying to book BOS-BUD with the flight over on US+Lufthansa & the flight back exclusively on Lufthansa. This isn't coming up as an option when I search the USAir site. Are those codeshare flights gone??? Did something happen to the partnership?? Or is it simply a USAir.com website issue?? I've skimmed the posts and I haven't seen any threads that seem to address this, so I apologize if I'm bringing up something that you guys have been discussing already.....

FWIW, I've seen threads recently about spotty "links" to *A carriers, so that may be it. Also, the website *IS* notoriously flaky.

That being said, you might be better served booking on the LH site and selecting *A as the carrier. You can still credit to US and fly US segments, but in case the worst happens you'll be protected as it's a LH ticket and they'd reaccomodate. Not sure it would be quite so easy the other way around given LH's tendency to be a bit tough on *A partners. Just my two cents, YMMV.

Thanks McFly.

Of course I got charged the $5 fee for not using the website.....

Buying the ticket directly through LH is a good idea, but, for personal reasons, I prefer not to give my money to German companies, so I'll take the risk on USAir.
