US's biggest shareholder? I bet you'll never guess ...
There's an article in Aviation Week and Space Technology this week about US and their situation. One of the most interesting things in the article is they talk about US's largest shareholder: Mesa Airlines. They currently own 2,000,000 shares of US, which is an increase of 1,500,000 since 9/11 by them. That equates to 2.94% of the total outstanding shares (68,100,000 outstanding) of US.
Very interesting that one of their regional affiliates is their largest shareholder ...
