30,000 Amex MR points = US club membership
"Transfer 30,000 Membership Rewards points
for a US Airways Club membership
For a limited time, transfer 30,000 Membership Rewards points to US Airways for a new annual US Airways Club membership. Enjoy the benefits of a comfortable, quiet environment in 21 Clubs. Take advantage of many business-focused amenities and private conference facilities. Transfer your points then call 1-800-828-8522 and request offer "AXCLB30". Offer ends December 21, 2001." http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/mroffer.htm
Unfortunately, the fine print says you can't use miles already in your US account. However, for those with MR points to burn, this is a great deal, as the standard membership fee levels start at 55,000 miles for non-elite, dropping to 35,000 for Gold (or CP w/spouse): http://www.usairways.com/club/join.htm
