After about 20 minutes the reservation was e-ticketed and confirmed, and I used regional upgrades to upgrade the outbound leg to first class. Ive booked literally hundreds of UA fares, and never had this happen... how is it possible? Anyone ever seen this before?
I've seen fares as low as $1 with a promotion, but not on UA (excepting the $4 HKG debacle).

This will be revoked

This fare will be revoked. It would be best to call and get the real fare. You will lose your flights.

You sure you want to be posting this here?

UA.com does give out free "gifts" from time to time...best to keep it to yourself.

I think UA has caught on...UA-NYC is correct. Keep these to yourself.

Looks like it has been detected. I successfully booked a ticket at 10 dollars (all for taxes). Then got error message when tried to select return flight when I tried to purchase another ticket at the same price.

Can't book anything now. Get error message for any itinerary. Either rez system crashed or they
shut it down to correct the glitch. Got 3 $10 RTs before the party ended. ^

--Insert PQD jokes here--

But wow--this was my first place to check once I started getting called over to people's desks a few minutes ago. Someone here did a daily check for fares and stumbled upon it.

Yeah UA shut everything down. There were $5-10 flights from SFO/SJC to anywhere this weekend.

I got a $10 RT fare quoted a few minutes ago. Tried to buy it, but got an error message. Now I'm getting error message on whatever browser or itinerary I try.

Just tried a flight search from IAD to several cities. Got a message that no flights were available for the dates (October).... I am guessing they took their reservations system down.
