I have little doubt that you'll clear. If it comes down to an airport decision.. you will be at or near the top of the 1P's.. any GS or 1K's (even on lower fares) will be ahead of you.

As a 1P on miles, all those on the PA list will be ahead of you. Before DM, fare class does not matter. If upgrade does not clear till DM, then it goes by status and then fare and then time on DM (check-in time).

Open seats by dummy booking, while an indicator, is not completely accurate -- does not show those who have not yet picked there seat assignment.

The only way to really know is to call. I booked two tickets yesterday with MUC/IAD showing NC0 expecting to be waitlisted, but phone agent said there were 3 C upgrades available. She issued the two upgrades while I waited.
