RCC in NRT
Ok, this is going to sound like a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyways. Are there two RCCs in NRT?
If so where are they both located? I only found one on my trip through there last week. It was just past the security screening check point for connecting passengers. It was relatively close to my SIN flight leaving from gate 26, but a good hike from the departure gate for my SEA flight (can't remember gate number).
If that is the only one, where the heck are the showers? Because I couldn't find any.

SEA,
The one by gate 26 is the older one of the two newer ones if that makes sense. If you walk out of the one by gate 26 and head back toward the passport control desks you will see a people mover on your left going down the center of a hallway towards gates 21-25. Directly opposite the end of the people mover at the endo that 50 meter hallway is the larger RCC. You go in and can go up or down escaltors to two parts. The escaltors down take you to the showers which are just off to the right as you get off the escaltor.
Good luck and happy scrubbing.
Mike

Thanks, mjm. I fly to NRT on Thursday and will be in Tokyo for four days before flying on to PEK. Can I only use the RCC as a departing or transfering passenger, or can connecting passengers use it also?
Thanks,
Jason

SEA-flyer...
I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. Are you asking whether you can use the RCC upon arrival at NRT?
If that is the case, there is no arrivals service in NRT and the RCC is in the "secure" area, seperate from the arrivals section and you can't go into the secure section unless you have an onward flight that day.
Of course, with appropriate status and/or service class you can access the NRT RCC when you leave for PEK.
(BTW, the "new" RCC has everything that the old one has, plus more. I wouldn't bother with the old one.)

The showers are open from 1:00 p.m. The receptionist will ask for your boarding pass and hold on to it while you are directed to a shower room. Pretty nice, with all of the amenities one would expect.

SEA,
Looks like you have the scoop now. I know they serve coffee at all Starbucks in town on Fridays before local FTers go the airport for their flights out of town. Shall we sip a cup for half an hour before I do my own jaunt out to the RCC?

There are a few amenities that they do not provide, and we ended up buying at a gift shop in the concourse: deodorant and a comb! However, my wife discovered that she loves Japanese aerosol deodorant (700 Yen I believe).
And the "new new" RCC was new to me as well, but I did something that I know most American men would be loathe to do: I asked where the showers were at the "old new" RCC, which was my first stop.
