You can get 2,500 miles added if you plunk down a minimum of 500 bucks with Ameritrade.
After the first six months, they will charge you $15 per quarter service charge if the total equity in your account is less than $2,000.
Still a pretty good deal, tho.

JimBob .. congrats .. make your first on line booking and get what - 3000 points is it now? And pick a dirt cheap $59 flight that gives you a 500 mile minimum or so miles each way and you are basically there. Go to Mileage Addicts site and sign up for Silver Wings Survey or some such thing for 1000 or whatever points and bingo, a free flight to Alaska or wherever!
