RCC Dress Code?

Anyone have any idea what this means?

Atmosphere and attire

Customers must dress in keeping with good taste and in consideration of the Club atmosphere and its membership.

I've seen just about everything with regards to attire in RRCs. Is there really a dress code that is enforced? Does it apply to the mice as well?

The dress code is a Shirt, shoes and a bottom. That is strictly enforced.

As long as you count sandals as shoes.

So, if you are wearing a shirt and a bikini bottom...?

Actually last flight I was on, some guy refused to wear a shirt. FA's had never seen that happen before.

There are a few exceptions, but for most of the domestic clubs, you must be appropriately dressed to consume packaged processed cheese, packaged cookies, and packaged pastries, all that are self-served and then eaten from a plastic plate with plastic forks, spoons, and knives, at dated, sometimes worn or torn furniture.

I always wear nice clothes on the plane (comfortable khaki's, dress shirt, golf shirt, etc). It's just me; maybe I'm old fashioned. But I try to be presentable. When I'm at the RCC, I usually look okay because I look okay on the plane.

Many times, I see people wear jeans & T-shirts to top-end restaurants (not the RCC) here in San Francisco. These places will be $100/person, people are there for their anniversary, and the dude next to you comes in with jeans and a metallica t-shirt (Yes, personally witnessed at Gary Danko!). It is just disrespectful to others when people look like they have recently emerged from the mountains without food, water, & showers for the past 3 weeks.

I do the same and as a fellow traveler, I applaud and appreciate your consideration.

Slight OT, but that's the dress code on any flight heading to SJO.

I can't believe in this day and age that people still judge others by what they wear. I'm so glad to live in an area where most people wear what they feel comfortable with, and (most) people don't look down on them for it.

So why are khakis and a golf shirt more "presentable" than jeans and a T-shirt?

OK, sounds like you're sufficiently presentable for a couple of packages of processed cheese. Throw in a few boxes of raisins.
