MPlus account statement - question

MPlus account statement - question
Ive just received my statement for the period 15NOV-12JAN. There is a box at the top right hand side that includes your account number and the total United flight miles in the program (as a counter towards million mile status). I ask, does that total UA flight miles in program include the UA miles that are detailed in that same account statement, or is that the starting balance before the reported activity?

I had always believed it to include the amount included in that statement. A recent email to MP would be consistent with that when I requested my lifetime flight miles (and another request that this statistic appear on the website). My lifetime miles were approx. what was on the last statement plus flights since that time.

Comparing two consecutive statements, I conclude that miles from the same statement are included.

Thanks for the info. I will email MPlus and cross check the balance they give me with the statement data.
