Help me decide which IAD flight for a MR
So I have a choice a Saturday of taking the 530pm IAD-LAX or IAD-SFO flight. The LAX flight is an Intl 777 and the SFO is a domestic 767. When normally traveling I always try to get on the 777 anyway - I love the lounger seat. Is this even a decision even though the SFO flight will garner about 150 extra EQMs?
If it matters I plan on upgrading.

It is not a question. Take the 3-class.

If you're upgrading then its a no brainer IMO: LAX with the 777 (if it is indeed the intl config). Having done IAD-SFO as part of an MR (with an immediate turn around SFO-IAD) you will not miss the 150 EQM's while lounging in C.
If you're gonna be in Y then its not as great of a difference, but I'd still vote for the 777.

I agree: International 777 in real C - no question there, in my opinion

Can't since Vegas is the final destination and there is no flight after 8pm b/w LAX/SFO (either way) that will connect me to either 1030pm SFO/LAX-LAS flight. It's not a bad MR. Ends up being $187 for 6.4K EQMs on a 3 day advanced purchase and I'm in a recliner seat for the long westbound flight coming back towards the end of the MR... The only bad thing is the redeye is a RE to ORD so the sleeping time is short.

Always 3 class. I did a redeye on the domestic 763 last night, in F, it was awful. I now remember why I hate those planes.

how did you get 187? i've tried to price out several sfo/iad routes for this weekend, and nothing even close.
The only redeye this weekend with l class seats is lax to ord Friday. And the fare isn't an sfo fare its a Vegas to Bradley fare
