E-upgrade Delay
Just got off the phone with the MP PremExec desk. I had surpassed the 10,000 mile plateau over a week ago and thought my first 4 500-milers of the year should have been posted, as a Saturday had passed since I hit 10,000.
The rep told me that the Saturday thing is normally the case, but they are having computer problems and will not be posting any more earned January 500-milers until February 3.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering the same thing myself after having flown 12,066 miles in January so far.

That's the same excuse they used in December when I flew 20000 miles and 500 milers did not post as expected on a Saturday night.

I've passed the 10,000 mark as well... but I only have 2 500 miles certs deposited in my account.. I thought we get 4 for every 10,000... hope it's just the computer glitch and not all that I get.. =P

Just great! Wonder what that means for the 1Ks still waiting on 4Q HK49s. Lets see, Christmas is right around the corner....

I'd flown 16,000 miles this Q by Jan 4! Still no 2001 EUG tho. Their computers must have been fritzed for quite a while tho.
Curiously I noted that 3 lots of 500s posted to me in November and December 2000 do not expire until April and May 2002 respectively. 20 of them. So it seems they have a MUCH longer useage date than the paper ones?

Just got this note from UA. Official party line seems to be now saying "First weekend in Feb" for upgrade posting.

that the only flight that missed out on the bonus was your 12/18/00
flights from Dallas to Chicago. I have credited the 100% bonus to each
of your accounts for that flight. Your upgrades should be added to
your account during the first weekend in February.

Thus far this month, I have about 45k on UA metal, but like tfung, I had two 500-mile upgrades post on 12 Jan, but that's it.
