So PUnki, don't feel bad. We are all being treated equally with late statements.

Even a PremEx who writes love letters to his favorite airline!

As a Malaysian 1K flyer, my last statement is the period from Oct 1st to Nov 5th 1999. UA still owes me 5 upgrade certs book. Received 5 after bugging them.

What you guys could do is take Delta miles for all your UA flights ... I got my statement through 12/31/99 last week from DL http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

(And before anyone tells me that's a stupid idea, I know it's a stupid idea ...)

It's too bad the online newsletters are not being updated frequently... the one currently online is the one from December, and January is almost over.

Gal at Premier Desk says Oct-Jan statements went out 1/24. Says expect them in 4 to 6 weeks unless you're 1K.

They're on their way - my Jan. 4 statement (1K) arrived today via first class mail.

But no upgrade booklets http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif. So I called, and apparently those got sent bulk mail on the same date, so should get to me about the same time the hoi poloi get their bulk mail statements.

Received my statement today, but no upgrades-hell with the statement I want my upgrades-I guess we must have patience. I just want to see what the system wide upgrades look like.

I talked to MP tonight and they said that my statement and 3 books of upgrades went out 1/13. I mentioned that it's 2/1 and the MP rep said they take up to three weeks for delivery! Holy cow are they coming by pony express or what? I did some major travel the last two months of last year....want my friggin upgrades!!!!!!

FWIW,

I talked to MP a while ago and the way the system works is they send out the statement and coupon information to an independant mailing house which takes about 3 weeks to get the actual statements and coupons into the mail to us. That is why there is a delay from when MP says they sent out the stuff.

I received my statement from 10/15-1/4 a couple of days ago. The 500 mile certs and 1K confirmed segement upgrades were enclosed.

Thought at first it was the 1K renewal kit...but no such luck. Can't wait to see the conditions on the systemwides...
